Works on the new hospital road between Burnside Drive and Entrance J will see a new road configuration in place from Saturday 10 April until completion of the new MSCP in early 2022.
From Monday 8 February, the new hospital link road between Burnside Drive and Elizabeth Street will be operational, with access to services managed via boomgates and an intercom system. No through-traffic will be permitted via this roadway to help minimise vehicle movements in the vicinity of the hospital's Emergency Department.

Most services within the existing Thomas & Rachel Moore Education Centre will be relocated to the newly constructed education building on eastern campus from 15 December. Access to the facility will be via the pedestrian bridge connection to eastern campus.

From Monday 26 October to Thursday 19 November, works to construct a new hospital road connecting Burnside Drive and Elizabeth Street will see temporary closure of the eastern end of Elizabeth Street, impacting both pedestrian and vehicle access to Entrance E, F and G, specifically Renal Isolation Dialysis and Transit Lounge.
As we build the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct, there will be changes on the hospital site and surrounding streets. As part of early works, relocation of the Coregas oxygen vessel is required. The tank will be moved from its current location near the P2 car park to a new location near Entrance G of the hospital between 7am to 3pm Wednesday 17 June*. The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct project has progressed to the second stage of early works, with a range of construction and refurbishment activity being delivered by Multiplex. Completion of this stage is expected in early 2021.
Works to prepare the site are continuing on campus and along surrounding streets, with stormwater, sewer and service upgrade activities scheduled to take place until late August 2020. This will include some night works between now and mid July.
