Rock removal in front of the Emergency Department

• Rocks will be removed by a small machine on North Road in front of the Emergency Department starting from Thursday 14 December.
• The small machine will move to the green zone next to the parking bays allowing enough space for cars to travel around the machine.
• Parking bays will be required to be kept clear during this period.
• Please allow more time to travel and follow the signs. 

Temporary public corridor

• A temporary public corridor has opened to maintain hospital access during Building D demolition works (North Block). The corridor connects Building A to Buildings C, D and E.

• From Friday 11 August, the Loading Dock and the Mortuary will be closed to unauthorised vehicles entering from Barber Avenue.
• Staff and general public vehicles must use the access road from Parker Street (southern side of P1). This change will be in place until further notice to progress Stage 2 main works.

• A new pedestrian footpath has been constructed around Nepean Hospital's Tresillian to avoid Stage 2 construction. This alternative pathway will ensure safe pedestrian connectivity along the northern end of the campus from ED to Nepean Cancer Care and the Nepean Private Hospital.
• Work is underway in and around Building D (North Block) to establish the Stage 2 construction site. 

Central Lift Access Changes in Building C

• Due to construction works in Building C as part of the Decant and Repurposing Program, there will be no access via the central lift for staff and /or patient transfers from Monday 31 July until further notice.
• Please pay attention to signage and use alternate lifts or fire stairs to access other levels.

Refurbishment works
