Looking ahead to a year of progress
Looking ahead to a year of progress
Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct redevelopment of Liverpool Hospital is preparing for a big year of progress on Stage 2 of the $830 million project.
Hospital General Manager Scott McGrath said he was excited to see the project moving forward this year.
“Stage 2 will deliver a new Integrated Services Building with two towers, including state-of-the-art inpatient units, expanded women’s and children’s services, and an integrated cancer centre, including the Australian Cancer Research Foundation Oasis Centre,’’ he said.
“It is fantastic to see the preparations for the second stage of this incredible redevelopment.’’
Emergency Department enhancements including a new entrance and drop-off zone on Goulburn Street, as well as a new waiting area, will open in the coming months as part of the ongoing ED expansion.
