60 seconds with AASH...

This month we had the chance to meet with amazing Aashley who’s helping to bring our redevelopment goals to life! ⭐

What is your role?
I am the Senior IT Project Manager for the Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct (LHAP) project.

What is your favourite part about your job?

The best part of my job is engaging and collaborating with different teams to help deliver efficiencies and improvements for our clinicians. Also, the friendships that you build along the way.

What is your career highlight?
Working as the Westmead Women's Health Clinic Patient Self Check-In Solution Lead. We had completely virtual queues, even when patients failed to check in, they were issued a ticket rather than approach reception. It was a first for the vendor.

What are you looking forward to most in the redevelopment?
Seeing the first stage of the Liverpool Hospital Redevelopment open and used by patients, staff, public, and the wider community is a testament to the hard work of everyone involved in this project. It also reflects the patience of those impacted by the ongoing construction. The sight of these spaces open and in use will make this challenging journey all worthwhile.

In my current role, my proudest professional moment has been working on implementing the new HGEN/Telstra network and I am excited to see what we will achieve.

What are you looking forward to most in the redevelopment?
Delivery of the new LHAP/Telstra HGEN network! A lot of people have put in a lot of time and effort to make this happen and they will never be seen or thanked but they made miracles come to life.

Tell us something people may not know about you?
I do not like avocados or salmon (prefer tuna).
