International Women’s Day on 8 March is the opportunity to celebrate the incredible women helping to shape the future of Liverpool Hospital through the $790 million Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct redevelopment. More than 30 women are part of the project team, playing pivotal roles in the planning and construction of the once-in-a-generation project. To celebrate and recognise the work of the women of LHAP, SWSLHD Redevelopment Director Karinn Marrone has marked 8 March as a day of celebration for the team. “Without our amazing female staff, none of this would be possible, and it’s important we acknowledge the outstanding work they are doing on this incredible project,’’ Ms Marrone said. “I thank all our women for their excellent work and commitment on this special day and every day.’’
